Surveys have been submitted to backerkit. Once approved by them(usually a day or two) I will get to send out the smoke test survey. This means a small percentage of people get the survey first. Once they complete the survey, I am allowed to send it to everyone else. Please make sure to fill it out as soon as possible if you are one of these first people. Keep in mind it probably won't be approved/go out for a couple days. If you have any questions please email [email protected]

The surveys will be open for approximately two weeks. Please make sure to select all items you over pledged for along with any additional items you may want to add. Please complete the survey before they are locked down. Right now the lock down date planned is July 23rd at 8PM PST. If you complete it after the lock down time there could be delays. Next year Valkyrie Saviors Key of Storms 2 will arrive on Kickstarter around Spring time! Before that make sure to preorder Valkyrie Saviors #1, 2 and 3 from your local comic store! We'll have all 3 issues in the coming months in previews so ANY comic shop can order them! Help us get Valkyrie Saviors out there by ordering it from your local shops! Make sure to post pictures on social media if you do buy it at the comic stores and tag Mount Olympus Comics so we can share your photo!
This weekend we will be at our first show since before the pandemic! Comicpalooza in Houston, Texas! If you are at the show come find us at booth #1249! We'll have show exclusives by Ruben Rosas, Luis Pomalaza, Sano Cara Nicole and Alfred Trujillo, 11x17 prints, all new original art we've accumulated over the past year, various previously released books and much more! I'll be there to sign any of your books or prints too! AND we have two special guests - Cosplayer/Artist AZ Powergirl Cara Nicole AND artist Alfred Trujillo! One of our exclusives is a connecting cover with their Firebitch book too! It'll be available at the show so you can get it signed by all three of us! Olympus Legions! Hope you had a great 4th of July weekend!
Surveys are being worked on and trying to get them done this week. Every time I think I have them done I have had to go back and make many changes. I am changing how I do kickstarters for Patriotika Gods and Shadows to hopefully speed up the survey process in the future.
I'll post an update as soon as they are submitted and then again when they are approved and sent out.
In other news, if you participated in the recent Launch Event those books will still be fulfilled in 6-9 weeks as originally planned. Unfortunately Etsy's automated system shut down our event just after our first 24 hours(too many sales for a new store they said!) and it took them a full week to get back to me to have access to the Launch shop again. As you can imagine this kind of nuked the plans for the event - part of which was to lead into the Hard Cover Collection on Indiegogo. The Hard Cover Collection Indiegogo campaign will most likely now be in August right before or at the same time as Patriotika Gods and Shadows Kickstarter. The books that were available during the launch event will either be available during those campaigns in some form or other, as well as in our new upcoming shop that will not be on Etsy. As for the Hard Cover Collection, I can now show the artwork for the 8.5" x11" hard covers themselves - 3 connecting covers by Sun Khamunaki! Samurai of Oz, Patriotika and Valkyrie Saviors Hard Cover collecting issue 1-3 of each series and more! Check out the artwork here - actual covers will be VIRGIN(no logos):
Of course there is a topless version, but more info on that will be sent out later!

The digital PDF of the regular and lineart versions of the Valkyrie Saviors Key of Storms comic will be going out later today! I will be sending them via private message. Be aware after surveys are completed you will most likely get the download link again along with other digital PDFs you added on. Please let me know what you guys think of the latest chapter. Chapter 5, Valkyrie Saviors Key of Storms 2 is currently scheduled for next Spring.

The Launch Event will be in a new Launch Event only Etsy shop(or possibly a different shop I have a team developing if it is ready on time) I am trying this out to see if it can be somewhere near as successful as a regular Kickstarter. The reason is that I'd like to do more books per year, and this would allow it. Some things will be the same, such as a "Launch Event" exclusive books, a Collectors Edition Tier, topless covers, holofoils, metals, metal card sets etc. The big differences are that there will be less tiers, no evolving tiers, no 3D lenticulars as these are the books that take the longest for production, no surveys as Etsy collects your shipping info and no second chance shop. Fulfillment time will be faster too as it goes directly to the printer a couple days after it ends, instead of waiting 20 days for Kickstarter to collect the funds and send them to me, and then another couple weeks to build the surveys. Stretch goals will be a little different too. Instead of the usual way stretch goals are handled, some things will work in a different way. Backers will receive a brand new OLYMPUS LEGIONS metal card with "OLYMPUS LAUNCH" logo on it, and a new bookmark and more! The rest of the stretch goal pack will be filled with previous Kickstarter stretch goal pack items at random such as chibi stickers, trading cards, post cards etc. More items will go in each stretch goal pack as items sell out too. Yes, that is also one big change, much more items will have limited number including the new items that show up daily. One stretch goal pack per household unless you add on extra ones.
Each weekday of the event there will be a new add on item(maybe more than one depending how things are going). To compensate for shipping we'll do these new daily add on items for free US shipping. International buyers unfortunately due to current shipping prices I can only offer a lower price on shipping for these new daily items than our usual shipping price. If you are international and do multiple add ons send me a message/email and we can try and figure something out such as partial credit for some of the additional shipping.
Last but not least multiple comic store owners/online shops will have exclusives available June 23rd in their own shops, much like how Marvel and DC launch a new book with dealer exclusives! We'll have the full list of dealer exclusives and their websites in a future email update and on social media, join our mailing list here for info or for our social media pages:

I'd love to get you guys in on this event, this would truly help me expand the Mount Olympus Comics series of books much more easily. And yes, we will still do Kickstarters, but these kind of events would be in between Kickstarters.
Speaking of Kickstarters, Patriotika Gods and Shadows Kickstarter will be in late August, and picks up right where Patriotika United 3 leaves off! We'll have new tiers, big changes to evolving tiers, amazing new and returning artists and many surprises as usual!

107K!! That was one wild last day right??? Thank you guys! Olympus Legions have spoken!! This officially puts all 3 of our titles over 100K! To think, the first and second Valkyrie Saviors were 26K and 27K - which almost led to me pulling them from any more Kickstarters! Fortunately the third one brought us to 57k, and this one secured us doing much more of Valkyrie Saviors on Kickstarter! Key of Storms 2 will come next year, most likely Spring 2022.
So next up it will be one week while Kickstarter runs everyone's cards and collects payments from cards that didn't go through. Please make sure to update your cards by Friday night May 21st 7PM PST so that your pledge goes through if it did not go through. In a few weeks I will send the surveys out, where I will collect your mailing information. As usual you will be able to add on more items you are interested in and that is also where you will use any over pledge amount to select the items you over pledged for.
Next up for Mount Olympus Comics on Kickstarter is Patriotika! I'm looking at sometime in August for launch on Kickstarter - but it won't be Patriotika United 3. Instead, it will be "Patriotika Gods and Shadows", which is the chapter AFTER Patriotika United 3, so technically Patriotika #7! What happens with Patriotika United 3? Instead of having United 3 on kickstarter, since we already had many backers pick it up during Patriotika United 2 Kickstarter, I am planning a near Kickstarter level event for it on my Etsy shop early summer:

And later this year we'll have Mad Wolf and Cop on Kickstarter! Inspired by Beauty and the Beast and Gargoyles, set in the same city as Patriotika! They solve mysteries revolving around the various crime syndicates that affect both hybrids(half beast half humans) and humans! We'll learn more about the hybrid side of the Patriotika universe! The cop is Gwen Murphy, the red hair police officer that helped Patriotika out during issue 2 and 3! Here's just one of the covers we have lined up:
